“Let’s Talk Digital” is an in-depth discussion featuring a group of Danish and International experts. The format will be a mix of keynotes and presentations of current issues within digital; blockchain, playlists, transparency, fair share, streaming platforms as producers and content providers etc.

We hope to create a vivid discussion and will encourage the audience to take part!

Scott Cohen

Co-founder, The Orchard (London, UK)

Scott is the co-founder of digital distribution company The Orchard. The Orchard is the largest digital distributor in the world with offices in 25 countries. As a well-recognized public speaker and lecturer, Scott Cohen travels the world evangelizing new business models for the digital age. He is a visiting professor at London Metropolitan University and sits on the British Phonographic Industry Council.

Casey Rae

CEO, Future of Music Coalition (Washington, US)

He is a musician, recording engineer, educator and author. He regularly speaks on issues such as emerging business models, creators’ rights, technology policy and intellectual property at major conferences, universities and in the media. He is the principal of Heru.us, a media, technology and policy consultancy. In his “spare time,” he runs the DC-based label Lux Eterna Records.

Rasmus Rex

PhD, RUC/RMC (Copenhagen, DK)

Rasmus Rex Pedersen is teaching Assistant Professor at Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and Lecturer at Roskilde University. His research covers how digitalization changes structural organization and business models in the music business. His ongoing research project focuses on the streaming economys consequences for Danish musicians.

Niels Mosumgaard

Koda, DPA (Copenhagen, DK)

He is a composer and songwriter and he is also chairman of DPA and Kodas board. The last 5 years he has been part of the discussions on digital distribution of music and the challenges it raises. For 4 years he has been one of four artists in the global music industry’s attempts to raise a database system for performing rights, which today is part of CISAC and the FastTrack system.

Henrik Fuglesang

Director, Corteus (Copenhagen, DK)

Henrik has worked in the music industry for more than 15 years and has extensive experience in digital distribution, online marketing and user analytics. After being Digital Director for Danish label disco:wax for 6 years, he earlier this year started on his own. As Director of Courteous, he helps labels, managements and artists with their challenges in the digital world.

Jesper Bay

Music business consultant, MusicMatters (Copenhagen, DK)

Jesper runs his own consulting company working with music and culture his work are primarily communication, strategy, business and event development. He is also a partner in the music company Body of Work with the singer and songwriter Asbjørn, president of the Bremen Theatre, vice chairman of the Danish National Opera and a member of the Music Committee in Aarhus.

Olivier Toth

CEO, Rockhal, (LU)

Having a background as a lawyer, he had the opportunity to make his passion his profession. He has been passionate musician and music aficionado since his youth and CEO of the Rockhal since 2005.

As CEO and head of booking he succeeded in implementing the venue on the roadmaps of most major touring productions and developed SONIC VISIONS, Luxembourgs international showcase festival and music conference.
